Has fear been harassing your mind?

Isn’t it funny how one thought that hasn’t even happened or that is not even real can do that to us. One thought. One thought that you make a habit to think about consistently.

The problem is that no amount of thinking about that fear can make it go away! In fact, in terms of ‘energy’, the more you think about it the more likely it is you will attract it or keep yourself immobilized by that fear.

What if you could think the opposite of that fear?
What would it take for you to start acting from a place of faith instead of fear?

Considering the term ‘worry’ meaning a habit of thinking the same thing over and over.. What if you could “worry” about things turning out better than you can imagine? Wouldn’t that ignite positive feelings such as excitement, passion and enthusiasm about your goals and dreams? Wouldn’t that feel better?

I’ve seen a lot of clients recently with the fear of being vulnerable. Fear of opening their hearts to love, fear of real intimacy.. yet deep down that’s all they truly want. Despite of this they still chose to think the worse and in turn remain stuck, anxious and feeling hopeless.

So how do we overcome our fears? Well, constantly thinking the worse, over analyzing it and worrying about it certainly won’t help you. You will only be fueling it and keeping the fear alive.

We overcome our fears by action!

I have had many moments of fear in my life, however I noticed that in the end I overcame them all by taking action.

Yes I used lots of meditations, breathing techniques and healing modalities that facilitated and supported me in overcoming some of my fears, however once that was done the next step was to act.

Ask yourself: what action can I take now to overcome my fear of …? What is the next logical step for me to handle my worry of…?

I’m saying this to you and at the same time I am speaking to myself. There are still things I need to do to take the next big step, and I’m sure there will always be the next big step that seems scary. This is the process of growth, to be constantly standing on the edge and taking leaps of faith.

So on that note…
