Journaling Prompts: 

  • Describe your desired loving relationship including:
    -How would you feel when you are in a loving relationship
    -how do you communicate when you have disagreements as a couple
    -how do you make decisions together
    -what do you enjoy doing together meaning hobbies, for fun etc
    -what is a typical day together
    -how do you show your appreciation to your partner & vice versa
    -what are your values as a couple
  • Who are you when you are in a loving, committed relationship? 
    -How would you think, how do you behave?
    -How do you make decisions?
    -Think about traits, qualities, mindset, character
  • If you truly loved yourself unconditionally who would you be? 
    -How do you think, how do you behave? 
    -How do you make decisions?
    -How to you show up for yourself?
    -What can you do every day to practice self-love?
    -If I loved myself unconditionally I would… (write everything you would do/be/desire/create, free-flow writing until you run out of things to say)
  • From everything you have written above, how can you BE more of this person today? Make this practical and tangible and start BEING this person today.
  • Write a love letter to yourself & read it daily for as long as you need to. You may even want to record yourself reading it and listen to it daily.
